Steven Garofalo received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD in 1988. He earned a Masters in Apologetics with an emphasis in Islamic Studies from Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, NC in May of 2007, with magna cum laude honors. Steven was ordained by Christian Family Life Church (part of Christian Family Life ministries) in Charlotte, NC on May 18, 2011.
Steven is certified by the Evangelical Training Association as an approved teacher and speaks at conferences and churches on religious and moral issues.
Steven taught World Views (World Religions) and Bible Doctrine from 2005-2006 at the Institute of Biblical Studies, a ministry of Southern Evangelical Seminary/Church. He has spoken at various churches and currently teaches Youth University at Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC.
Steven served as Student Body President at Southern Evangelical Seminary (SES) from 2005-2006. He served on the organizational board as well as an annual speaker at the SES sponsored National Conference On Spiritual Discernment (www.ses.edu). Steven has appeared on local Charlotte Cable television Channel 21 on the subjects of Ethics, Wicca and Witchcraft. Other accomplishments include teaching S.H.A.P.E. Spiritual Giftedness Seminars at McLean Bible Church in the Washington D.C. area, Forest Hill Presbyterian and Charlotte South Fellowship churches in Charlotte, NC.
Steven speaks at churches, Para-churches, retreats and corporations on subjects which include but are not limited to; Bible Doctrine/Theology, Islam, World Religions, Cults, Pluralism, General Practical Ethics, Business Ethics, Sexuality and the Bible as well as miscellaneous subjects relating to men's ministries.
Steven Grew up in the Washington D.C. area and relocated to Charlotte, NC in 1999. He is married with three children and currently lives in the Charlotte, NC area. His vision is to help equip others to be able to defend the Christian faith.
